Supports energy-focused research that aims to explore and accelerate economy-wide decarbonization (inclusive of challenges and opportunities across the energy industry) and explore emerging (clean) energy solutions. Research priorities: Clean Energy Technologies / Electric System and Customer Reliability and Resilience / Electric System Flexibility / End-use and Economy-wide Carbon Reduction / Market Transformation / Open Category: Innovation.

Funding: typically ~ $100K/ year.
