U.S. DOD/DARPA Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) - Macaroni (abstracts)

seeks innovative proposals in the areas of electrically small receivers and transmitters that exceed the current state of the art (SoA). This solicitation includes a Collateral SECRET classified addendum that contains key technical details relevant to the Macaroni goals. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. The Macaroni program is a 45-month, three-phase program with an 18-month Phase 1 (base), 18-month Phase 2 (option), and nine-month Phase 3 (option). The Macaroni program has two Technical Areas (TA): Technical Area 1 (TA1) addresses receivers and Technical Area 2 (TA2)

addresses transmitters.
