Topic areas include: Bladder cancer • Blood cancers • Brain cancer • Colorectal cancer • Esophageal cancer • Head and Neck cancer • Immunotherapy • Liver cancer • Mesothelioma • Metastatic cancers • Neuroblastoma • Pediatric brain tumors • Pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancers • Stomach cancer. * Virtual Cancer Center Director Award- opportunity to establish a virtual cancer center focused on fostering the next generation of cancer researchers across the spectrum of cancers included under the PRCRP. Funding: up to $1,25M for 4 years. *Career Development Award – Supports independent, early career investigators (within 10 years of completing terminal degree) to conduct impactful research, together with the mentorship of an experienced cancer researcher. Funding: up to $400K for 3 years. *Behavioral Health Science Award- innovative research and high-reward studies that span the spectrum of behavioral health science including prevention, quality of life, symptom management, resilience, and psychosocial issues related to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Funding: $1M for 4 years. *Translational Team Science Award - Supports translational, military relevant, studies, by teams of 2-3 investigators, associated with an ongoing or completed clinical trial and/or translational study that can lead to a future clinical trial or clinical application. Funding: up to $ 1.5 million for 4 years. |
