| General description: |
- Seminars – Basic Research in Natural Sciences: Seminars should create an appropriate ambience for study of a subject in a manner that allows ongoing interaction among students, Israeli scientists, together with scientists invited from abroad. Funding up to $40,000. - Interdisciplinary Research Workshop: for the promotion of interdisciplinary research. Two-day workshops in the fields of natural sciences, humanities, and/or social sciences, meaningfully affiliated with the Natural Sciences. Funding: up to $10,000. - Batsheva de Rothschild Fellowship: the aim is to bring to Israel leading scientists from around the world, to meet with Israeli scientists and students and to exchange knowledge, opinions and ideas in their disciplines. Funding: up to $5,000. -Aharon and Ephraim Katzir Study Grant: intended for extended studies in research and the learning of new methods at leading laboratories in the world in the life sciences, the exact sciences, and engineering. Awards for doctoral students and researchers (PhD/MD within past 10 years). Funding up to $5,000/1-2 months.
