General description:

*Applied Research Award - Seeks applied research focused on advancing treatment and restoration of function for military personnel with neuromusculoskeletal injuries sustained during combat or combat-related activities. Preliminary data required. Funding: $750K over 3 years.

*Clinical Trial Award - Supports clinical trials with the potential to have a major impact on military combat-related orthopaedic injuries, or non-battle injuries that significantly impact unit readiness and return-to-duty/work rates. Funding: $3M over 4 years.

*Integrated Clinical Trial Award - Supports interdisciplinary clinical trials that integrate both surgical and rehabilitation strategies for both the treatment of combat-related orthopaedic injuries, and non-battle injuries. Funding: $4.5M over 4 years

*Clinical Translational Research Award - Supports translational research that evaluates the effectiveness of health care practices and/or interventions in neuromusculoskeletal injuries rehabilitation. Funding: $2M for 4 years.
