General description:

SIIRD, a co-operation between the Singapore and Israel which aims to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial R&D projects is announcing a new call for proposals.

The call is open to any Industrial research and development area

Eligibility:
At least 1 Israeli industrial company +1 Singapore Industrial company.
Universities and non-university research establishments in the two countries are invited to participate in the collaborative projects as subcontractors.

Project Types:
¨     Feasibility Study
Preliminary investigations to determine the technical feasibility or market acceptability of a new product or process concept. SIIRD can fund up to US$30,000 or 50% of the eligible costs for conducting feasibility tests or whichever is lower.

¨     Mini R&D Project
Joint R&D project where the total recognized R&D cost is not more than US$200,000 and project duration is not more than one year. SIIRD can fund up to US$100,000 or 50% of the eligible R&D costs or whichever is lower.

¨     Full-Scale R&D Project
Full-scale R&D project where the maximum duration of project is three years. SIIRD can fund between US$100,000 and US$750,000 (not more than US$500,000 in one year) or up to 50% of the eligible R&D costs or whichever is lower.
