Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research: Target Validation 2010

Name: Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research: Target Validation 2010
Application deadline: 01/06/10
General description:

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson‟s Research (MJFF) announces the launch of the 2009 version of its annual Target Validation program. This funding program seeks to support studies that aim to validate the therapeutic potential of scientific discoveries and to push them one step closer to the clinic. Proposals must determine whether manipulating the function of a target provides a disease-relevant beneficial outcome. MJFF believes that promoting critical target validation studies within academic and industry laboratories can help „de-risk‟ these investments and ultimately accelerate the creation of improved therapies for people with PD.
