General description:	Research into the causes and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, including: genetics, molecular mechanisms, circuits, anatomy, cognition/behavior, translation and therapeutics. - Pilot Award: Innovative, high-impact proposals for small-scale projects or early-stage experiments. Investigators new to the field of autism are encouraged to apply. Funding: $250K over 2 years. - Research Award: For investigators with demonstrated expertise, for compelling, high-impact research on an experimental hypothesis for which, in most cases, preliminary data have already been gathered.
