| General description: |
The primary goal of Short-Term Research Grants is to give young German and Israeli scientists (Age<38) the opportunity to visit research partners or to establish contacts with scientists in the respective guest country. The grants also allow the scientists to participate in seminars and workshops, particularly as guest speakers. |

The fellowship rates are paid as follows: Graduate Students: EUR 300/week Postdocs: EUR 425/week Flights are covered by a lump sum of up to EUR 700.00. Please note that grant holders will have to take care of health insurance themselves. |
