| General description: |
Aim: support creative, paradigm-shifting cancer research that may not be funded through conventional channels. It is expected that these grants will catalyze significant scientific discoveries and help talented young investigators gain scientific Independence. Applicants must belong to racial or ethnic group(s) that has been shown to be traditionally excluded in the cancer-related sciences workforce. Funding: $450,000 for 3 years.
