Promote multi-perspective research on how mobility and health are interlinked, influencing the general health, various health determinants and the well-being of
local and mobile populations, and how the effects of mobility could be addressed in a sustainable way.
Initiated jointly by three independent private foundations. Volkswagen Foundation will only be able to award grants with the main
applicant from a research institution in Germany. For Novo Nordisk Foundation, the main applicant is not restricted. At least one of the applicants should be from Nordic
region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden). Wellcome - main applicant and coapplicants is restricted to the UK and Low-or-Middle Income countries.
Funding: Phase 1 - up to 50K EUR, up to 7 months, Phase 2 - 0.5-1.5M EUR, 3-5 years
