Various funding opportunities:

* Beverley Librach Abshez Initiative for Ovarian and Female Reproductive System Cancers

Supports research that identifies risk factors, develops preventive strategies, improves detection technologies, and devises new strategies for prevention, detection, and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Abshez Initiative grants will be awarded for two (2) years for $100,000 per year,

* Research Professorships Grants: designed to provide flexible funding to a senior researcher who has already made outstanding contributions to basic, translational, or clinical cancer research.

Funding: $100,000/year, for up to 5 years.

* Clinical Research Career Development Awards (CRCDAs): To enhance the clinical research capabilities of young scientists. Funding: at a stipend of $45,000/year for 3 years.

* Research Career Development Awards (RCDAs): To enhance the research capabilities of young scientists, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral fellowship and within 5 years of their 1st academic appointment. Funding: $45,000/year for 3 years.

* Project grants: Intended to support the research of established investigators
Funding: $60,000/year for 3 years.

* Barbara S. Goodman Endowed Research Career Development Award for Pancreatic Cancer: intended to advance our knowledge of the pathogenesis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. A candidate must have a doctoral degree with at least 3 years of postdoctoral fellowship and within 5 years of their 1st academic appointment.

Funding: $45,000/year for 3 years.

*Special Initiative in Neuroblastoma Research: Proposals will be prioritized for funding based on their potential to contribute to the understanding, prevention, and effective treatment of neuroblastoma.

Funding: $60,000/year for 3 years.
