General description:

Advances research devoted to find treatments and a cure for propionic acidemia.

Two possible programs:

1) Research Projects – Basic and Clinical research designed to understand the molecular basis of the Propionic Acidemia (PA) pathology and explore possible therapeutic avenues for the treatment of this condition. Funding: Past awards have ranged from $3K-50K per year and may last 1 or 2 years upon competitive renewal. (No overhead)

2) Post-Doctoral Fellows Program – Supports a metabolic/genetic fellow working on a research project in PA. This salary is intended to supplement any existing institutional support. Funding: up to $50K for one year. (No overhead)
