General description:

Young Investigator Award: Aim to attract early career faculty (within the first 5 years of their first academic faculty appointment) into the field of melanoma. Funding innovative and original, preclinical, translational, and/or early clinical research projects. A mentorship commitment from a senior investigator is required.

* Special Opportunity- Young Investigator Award on advanced translational research for Acral Melanoma.

* Special Opportunity- Young Investigator Award in Immunotherapy

*  Special Opportunity- UK or Israel based Young Investigator Award

Funding: up to $85K/ year, for 3years. (No overhead, Non-profit)

Dermatology Career Development Award: Aims to attract early career faculty (within the first 5 years of their first academic faculty appointment) a with original ideas into the field of melanoma. Supports research projects (including epidemiological data gaps and population health and education programs), practice changing demonstration projects, and/or immersive studies aimed at improving melanoma prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and/or staging. Applicants must designate at least one Mentor. Funding: up to $75K/ year, for 2 years. (No overhead, Non-profit)
