The Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT Fund) is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting the discovery and development of new health technologies, including drugs, vaccines and diagnostic, for infectious diseases prevalent in developing countries. The first partnership of its kind in Japan, the GHIT Fund is a public-private partnership (PPP) established by the Government of Japan, a consortium of Japanese pharmaceutical companies, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
