Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT): Target Research Platform - R&D partnerships with Japanese organizations – Intent to Apply

GHIT facilitates and funds partnerships between Japanese and non-Japanese organizations, for the discovery and development of new health technologies, including drugs, vaccines and diagnostics, for infectious diseases prevalent in developing countries.

Focused on technologies and approaches that address unmet or priority needs within malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and any of the Neglected Tropical Diseases recognized by the World Health Organization.  

 Funds up to ¥100,000,000 (~$900,000) for 2 years- Overhead 14%.
