U.S. DOD/DARPA: World Modelers BAA

Aim: to develop technologies that will enable analysts to rapidly build models to analyze questions relevant to national and global security, technologies that are comprehensive, targeted, causal, quantitative, probabilistic, and timely enough to recommend specific actions that could avert crises. World Modelers will extend machine reading technologies to deal with heterogeneity, and may implement human-machine interaction technology. Food insecurity will be the initial use case for the World Modelers program. The program is planned for 4 years.
