(Research Authority deadline deadline: May 7. MOST: May 10) Joint German-Israeli R&D projects, preferably multi-disciplinary, focused on solutions to the water problems in Israel and its direct neighbors and/or Germany. Projects should preferably include also industrial partners. Projects are funded for 3 years. The funding amount is not specified. Past years average requests were around €70K/year in Israel and €105K/year in Germany. Specific topics for 2017: Water technologies to reduce agricultural water demand Reduce the energy demand and/or brine production of desalination processes |
