Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR): Research Grant - LOI

Aim: to support research relevant to PWS, particularly projects that will lead to new interventions to alleviate the symptoms. Priority will be given to: molecular basis of the PWS phenotype, regulation of appetite and energy homeostasis in individuals with PWS; development and evaluation of therapeutic interventions to regulate appetite and satiety in PWS, etiology of medical, behavioral and psychiatric complications in PWS; development and evaluation of therapeutic interventions, understanding pyschopathalogy in PWS; development and evaluation of interventions.  Funding: $100,000 for 1 yr, with the possibility of a second year upon competitive renewal.
