Provides funding for outstanding investigators who are beginning independent research. HEI hopes to encourage highly qualified individuals to undertake research on the health effects of air pollution. The candidates may have training and experience in any of the many branches of science relevant to air pollution. Funding: to $150,000 per year with a maximum of $450,000 for 3 years. |
