Scientific projects, basic and applied research, for special medical drugs or equipment for special operation forces in extreme and remote environments. Specific interests include: Training Technologies; Prolonged Field Care; Damage Control Resuscitation (Wound Management, Analgesia: Far Forward Blood Transfusion, Surgical Stabilization); Portable Lab Assays and Diagnostics; Acclimatization; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Diagnostics, Treatment, and Prophylaxis; Canine Medicine, Human Operational Performance (Optimal Performance, Nutrition, Heart Rate Variability, Physiology). Funding: $700K over 2 years.
