NSF-BSF: Program in Ocean Sciences (Physical, Chemical, Biological, Geological)

NSF deadline is 15.8; application to BSF by 20.8
The program will accept collaborative research proposals in the following areas:

d) Marine Geology and Geophysics Synopsis of NSF program: http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=11726
The proposed research does not have to be in the Eastern Mediterranean or Gulf of Eilat/Aqaba, and can be in any marine environment around the world
Applications must clearly demonstrate the added value of the cooperation between the partners and the critical role of the Israeli.
The U.S. PI is required to discuss the planned research program with the NSF program officer before embarking on proposal preparation.
Funding is up to $100,000/year for up to 3 years.
