Name: Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research: Multiple opportunities – Pre-proposals
Application deadline: 27/09/17
General description:

Target Advancement: seeks to build robust evidence to rationalize biological pathways and targets for further translation into new Parkinson's treatments.

Funding:  $100,000 for 1 year.

Therapeutic Pipeline Program: supports therapeutic development along the pre-clinical and clinical path (both drug and non-pharmacological therapeutics).

Funding: Pre-Clinical: $100,000-$500,000, appropriate to the stage of research

Clinical: Commensurable with the stage and goals

Outcome Measures: develop or optimize imaging, clinical/non-invasive, or biochemical biomarkers are appropriate for this RFA. Particular emphasis will be on projects that explore relationships between physiologic and biochemical biomarkers.

Mitochondrial Biomarkers: Aim: develop new or improved tools to identify mitochondrial biomarkers for Parkinson's disease (non-iPSC, human biospecimen studies only). Funding: up to $200K for 1-2 years (overhead 10%).

Funding: There is no set budget limit for proposals.
