Grants on topics relevant to large companion animal health and welfare. Particularly interested in inviting proposals that address the following topics:

  1. Genetics and epigenetics of health and disease
  2. Stress, biomarkers of stress and welfare, and the impact of stress on health outcomes
  3. Gut health and the association of microbiome with health outcomes

Funding: Established Investigator (typically ~$50K/yr for up to 3 years), First Award (early career, $54K/yr for 2 years), Fellowship Training (up to 2 yrs postdoc, PhD or DVM, $50K/yr for 2 yrs salary support) and Pilot Study (innovative ideas, up to $10.8K)
