| General description: |
Program in Macrovascular Complications: intended to stimulate and accelerate European research on macrovascular complications. Grants are offered for basic or clinical mechanistic studies. Funding: Euro 100,000 for basic projects and Euro 250,000 for clinical projects. The duration one year or longer. Innovative Measurement of Diabetes Outcomes Pilot proposals for innovative definition and measurement of outcomes in diabetes. Proposals may include, but need not be limited to, the validation of behavioral, biological, and disease management metrics to complement HbA1c in defining the quality of the long term management of diabetes. Funding: Euro 100,000 for 1 year or longer.
