General description:	New!: This year pre-registration to ISF online is required. Registration should be completed by 25.10. Deadline for submission: November 1 ISF accepts basic science applications in all fields. The grants are given to 1-4 investigators for up to 4 years (5 years as pilot in social, life sciences and medicine). Proposals are evaluated for scientific excellence: [1] Originality & innovation, [2] Significance & implications, [3] Adequacy of methods, and [4] Suitability of investigators’ scientific background (see review instructions: www.isf.org.il/english/reviews_guidlines.asp). Funding: No formal limit.
