Encouraging research proposals from Israeli and Indian researchers, scientists may seek funding in bioinformatics, microbiology, cell and developmental biology, neurobiology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, infection, immunity, and pharmacology. Each funding agency will finance the PI of its country at a level of up to $300,000 (for each side) for an experimental project, or up to $180,000 for a theoretical project, for up to 3 years.

Budget: Funding for the Indian partner for the 3-year period will be up to 18,000,000 Rs (₹) in experimental projects and 10,800,000 Rs in theoretical projects. Equipment can be requested in amount of 3,000,000 Rs. For the Israeli partner, the amounts are 370,000 / 220,000 / 180,000 NIS respectively
