International Incoming Fellowships (IIF)

This action aims to reinforce the scientific excellence of the Member States and the Associated countries through knowledge sharing with incoming top-class researchers active in a third country to work on research projects in Europe, with the view to developing mutually beneficial research co-operation between Europe and a third country.
The research topic will be chosen by the researcher in collaboration with the Technion and is open to all fields of research.
Subsequently, these researchers will have the possibility of future collaborative research links with European researchers and organisations active in research in their future research career.

Eligibility:
At the call deadline the research should have completed all the requirements for their doctorate or have 4 years of full time research experience from the completion of the degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided.
Researchers should not have been in the country of the Host institution for more than 12 months at the time of the deadline
Due to the competitive nature of this grant it is not suitable for researchers conducting their first Post Doc position and should only be considered for researchers with a strong track record in their field.
