General description:

The Foundation's program focuses on efforts to prevent HIV infection among vulnerable populations and to improve treatment, with the ultimate goal of eradicating the virus in people living with HIV. The goal of this program is to provide funding for exceptional researchers who are new to the HIV/AIDS field. Krim Fellowship will support the applicant’s ongoing HIV research and facilitate the transition to an independent career in HIV/AIDS research field. The Fellowship supports 2 years of postdoctoral research ($125,000), with the possibility of one additional year of research support ($50,000) during the 1st year of a tenure-track position. Fellowship research projects should pertain to HIV prevention or treatment, including viral eradication.
